GUO Rui

Professor GUO Rui read his PhD at Harvard University and is an Assistant Professor of Law at Renmin University. He is a researcher at the Harvard Law School Project on Disability.

LONG Yifei

Professor LONG Yifei is a PhD supervisor, Professor and Vice-Dean of Renmin University Law School. He is the Vice-President of the Aviation Law Research Institute, the Vice-President of the Marriage and Family Law Research Institute, both belonging to the China Law Society, and the Deputy Director of the Renmin University Civil and Commercial Legal Sciences Research Centre. Professor LONG is the President of the Civil and Commercial Law Research Institute of the Beijing Law Society and the Vice-President of the society’s Real Estate Law section. His is the Vice Chairman of the China Land Law Legal Professional Committee and the Executive Director of the Beijing Federation of Social Sciences.

Professor LONG was appointed as a member of the expert group that provided lectures on legal awareness to senior civil servants, during the 4th and 5th Five-Year Legal Education Campaigns. He has held many other expert advisory positions including to the Ministries of Civil Affairs, Land and Resources and Labour and Social Security, as well as advising the Beijing Municipal Government on their legal system.

Research interests: general theory of civil law, commercial law theory, property law, debt and contract law, marriage and family law, social security law

ZHU Yan

Professor ZHU Yan is a PhD supervisor and Professor at Renmin University Law School. He received his PhD in Law from the University of Bremen, Germany and is a post-doctoral fellow of the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law in Hamburg. Professor ZHU is the President of the Renmin University China-Europe Comparative Private Law Research Institute, the Chairman of the China Scholars of the Office of the German Chancellor, Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, and Assistant to the Secretary-General of the Civil Law Research Institute of the China Law Society.

Research interests: Chinese civil law, Chinese commercial law, German civil law, European private law, comparative law



WU Zhicheng

WU Zhicheng is an Assistant Professor at Renmin Law School and obtained his DPhil in Law degree at the University of Oxford.

His research interests include: trusts, fiduciary, property and unjust enrichment.
